| NCEA Level Two is the first chance students have the opportunity to take design as a specialist subject. The year introduces students to the use of a the computer as a tool to produce art. Students will learn industry standard computer programmes and develop skills in drawing and developing ideas. During the course students will have the opportunity to gain 24 credits towards their NCEA. |
NCEA
Level three develops and builds on knowledge introduced in level two.
The year is made up of 24 credits, 14 externally assessed in the form
of a three panel folio and 10 which are internally assessed. Students
are given the opportunity to develop their own ideas and issues in the
design they make. |
