Level Two is the first chance students have the opportunity to take photography
as a subject. The year introduces students to the use of a manual camera
and all of its functions, working in a darkroom to produce photos and
the history and theory of photography. During the year students have the
opportunity to gain 24 credits towards their NCEA. |
NCEA
Level three develops and builds on knowledge introduced in level two.
The year is made up of 24 credits, 14 externally assessed in the form
of a three panel folio and 10 which are internally assessed. Students
are given the opportunity to develop their own ideas and issues through
their photography. |
