On behalf of our tutors and staff may we welcome you to the “Online Directory” of courses. We hope you see something you like here and encourage you to give it a go.

 

The shift to a “Learning Society” means people are encouraged to constantly upskill at work, as well as socially. Research indicates that people who are mentally stimulated through learning live happier lives. Our aim is to give you a chance to do that in a structured and pleasant way, close to home.

 

In order to organise new courses for you to enjoy, we need to know what you would like to learn about. Please jot down your suggestions here and send/drop them in to us, along with your Enrolment Form.

 

We are always looking for tutors (and can provide subsidised training in tutoring adults, which is a 2 day course in Auckland.) This year we are particularly looking for the following:

• French

• Marine Ecology,

• Cookery

• Workshop Technology (Wood and Metal)

 

Please call us if you are interested. Tutoring adults is a fun and rewarding way to meet people who share a similar interest.
