Anyone who has a child or children at the college is automatically a member of the PTA, how you use that membership is entirely up to you as we do need your support and help in many ways. If you can’t get to the meetings on the second Tuesday of the month, but can offer your help in other ways, please let us know.

Held every second Tuesday of the month. In the staffroom @ 7:30pm terms 1 & 4 (summer) @ 7pm terms 2 & 3 (winter))

After a very busy start of the year your PTA are now busily planning for 2 upcoming events which you should be sure to mark in your diaries as you won't want to miss them.
Friday 7th October – We are teaming up with the Kowhai Festival to present an Open Air Cinema evening at the College. The PTA will be helping to run and promote the evening and will be selling food and refreshments. It will be a great family evening. more info>>
Friday 2nd December – The PTA Gift Fair where you will be able to do your Xmas Shopping amongst the stallholders. There will also be refreshments available and entertainment so you can make a real evening of it. If you are interested in having a stall or helping to organize this evening please drop me an email at nhallam@xtra.co.nz or call me 021 721 449 (Natasha).
The PTA have been happy to be able to give back to the school lately with donations to benefit the Maori Department, Social Studies Department and the whole school generally. We are also excited to be working on a way that the college will really be able communicate with the community in the future with a brand new Electronic Sign – this is something we have been looking at for many years and thanks to some great funraising efforts lately we are now in the final stages of planning with this.
It has been great to see some new faces at our recent meetings. You are all part of the PTA as a right if you have children at the college and we would welcome any of you to our meetings to share your ideas and lend a hand. Feel free to call me any time if you would like any more information on what we do and when our meeting are.
