Mahurangi College held its annual Form 1 - 4 Regatta on December 1st, 2008, at Algies Bay.
As per previous years, the aim of this regatta was for a relaxed, fun day with a series of short races that would provide racing practice for junior members of school sailing teams.

Due to the generosity of sponsors, there were place and spot prizes to be won. Racing was in the following classes: Optimist, P-Class, Starling, Splash, Techno.
