On Wednesday the 8th December the middle school graduation awards evening was held in the new Mahurangi College Auditorium. After opening with the NZ national anthem, Mr Macleod the Principal welcomed the parents and students to the fourth middle school graduation ceremony. In his speech he encouraged students to strive for excellence and especially to follow the advice of the Prime Minister, John Key, that keeping a positive attitude is paramount. more..

The Middle School Graduation was held in the school gym on Tuesday December 9th 2009 from 7pm. All students who achieved 66% or more of their credits were awarded Graduation. If their GPA was 70% or greater they gained it with Merit and 80% or greater Excellence with 90% or greater gained Distinction. more..
