Mahu Twenty/20 cricket team wins Northland and Northern Districts championships
In an outstanding performance, the boys 1st XI cricket team were crowned Northern Districts Twenty/20 champions at a top four tournament in Hamilton yesterday. This success has qualified the 1st. XI to challenge the likes of Whangarei Boys, Hamilton Boys, Tauranga Boys, Rotorua Boys to find the champion college in Northern Districts to represent the region at the nationals in December. more..


Mahurangi cements a 40 run win vs Dargaville HS
The boys had a home game against the unbeaten side from Dargaville High School on Thursday 17th March.  Since both sides had won three from three thus far, it was a decisive game and would probably decide the fate of the Wyatt Cup. more..

The boys 1st XI cricket team juggernaut rolls on, with two further crushing wins recorded in their Wyatt Cup campaign. On Tuesday 1st March they met Rodney College at Kaipara Flats sports park. Next up the boys travelled to Ruakaka, on Tuesday 8th March, to take on Bream Bay College. more..


Jordan Kose and Zac Wyatt make over 100 each
The boys headed to Ruawai in  the opening round of the lower Northland school's, Wyatt Cup.  Mahurangi opened with a batting blitz that saw them amass 374 from their 30 overs.  Both Jordan Kose and Zac Wyatt made centuries before retiring not out. more..


Boys 1st XI cricket 2011 programme starts Friday 11th Feb
The Boys 1st XI cricket 2011 programme gets underway on Friday 11th Feb, when the team competes in the first round of the national Gillette Cup competition. The team is drawn to play Kamo High School in a 20/20 fixture on Kensington Park #4, in Whangarei. The team is also involved in the Wyatt Cup, 30 over competition against other schools from Lower Northland. The season will conclude with the two day, round robin competition, Bruce Scott trophyflooking or the best Northland school in the 20/20 format. more..
