On May 1st Parents attended a very interesting evening of presentations by Year 8 students on their Waicare and Marine Reserve research. The students reported back from field work and trips they have been involved in recently. Yr 8 'Pop Up' Wheels and Windmill
A Yr 8 'Pop Up' Wheels and Windmill display in the foyer of the auditorium. The work displayed is the result of an inquiry based learning activity, based on research which has led to a product of mixed genre writing styles and a working model. A great collaborative learning exercise! more..


Yr 7 Foldouts
These book covers are the work of Year 7 students from 7E. Some of them are replicas of the original book covers and others are the student's own design. They are called Foldouts and inside they contain a description of the plot, characters, setting and theme of one of the books that they read during "Readathon Fortnight" when they were expected to read for at least 20 hours. This year the record was broken by Rory Kavanagh, 7E, who read for 56hours 50min. What a tremendous effort! more..
