WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS?

Many parents and caregivers choose to pay by Automatic Payments to spread the load of school costs. You will receive your first statement by the middle of Term One and if you choose to pay by Automatic Payment you can then work out the weekly, fortnightly or monthly payment amount required. PLEASE NOTE: Automatic payments do not cover extra curricular activity (our "no pay-no play/go" policy applies).

 

In the event of financial hardship, sports and voluntary trips may be paid by AP but ONLY by prior arrangement with our Executive Officer Mrs Carla Strachan. Tel: 09 4258039 ext 707

WHY SHOULD I PAY THE GENERAL PURPOSES DONATION?

GPD's are a valuable source of income that enables us to improve the breadth of education offered at Mahurangi College. Mahurangi College uses GPD to fund resources not directly funded by the Ministry of Education, e.g. library books, sporting and cultural equipment, our yearbook. The GPD is classed as a voluntary donation and is tax deductible. As a school we have very limited discretionary income so we encourage you to pay the GPD if at all possible.  We do appreciate your support in this.

 

Currently the GPD is; First Child $150, Second Child $100, Third Child $50, Fourth child or more $0.​
