The full school athletics day for all students is held at Shoesmith Domain early Term 1. Our Athletics Champions for Y7, Y8, Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories are determined at the full school athletics day.

Successful qualifiers from Y9-13 athletes get quality coaching from our experienced staff in both run, jump and throw disciplines leading up to the North Harbour and Greater Auckland Athletics Champs later in Term 1. NZ National Athletics Champs are held early December.

All Y7-8 students compete in a second athletics day held on the school field early Term 4. Top qualifiers from this event are invited to attend the North Harbour Intermediate Schools zone day. A North Harbour team is selected from top qualifiers at the zone day to compete at the Auckland Champs.
