LIVING CLASSROOM

The Living Classroom is at the centre of our well-being practice. It has many layers including an environment focus, based in the practice of kaitiakitanga (guardianship) and whanaungatanga (our connections). We get our hands dirty, visit places of significance (Mt Tamahunga, sacred to local iwi Ngāti Manuhiri) and learn. It requires us to serve our place and our community through a range of opportunities; trapping, pest plant removal, planting, and supporting local community events.
