Squash is a fun, fast and exciting sport that is easy to learn and can be played all year-round. It was reintroduced to Mahurangi College in 2022. Our Year 7 and 8 boys team won the North Harbour Zone day competition, and the Senior Boys team were runners up in Division 2 of the Auckland Secondary Schools Teams Championships. Our boys team also competed at the National Secondary Schools event.

Practices and coaching takes place at Warkworth Tennis and Squash Club on Wednesdays 4-5pm during Terms 1-3, starting in late March. These coaching sessions are free during Term 1, however in Term 2 and 3 players must be a member of a squash club. Additional coaching sessions are available to Warkworth Squash Club members on Mondays after school

There are several school and club competitions available for Mahurangi students to participate in.
