OUR INTERNATIONALS

STUDYING AT MAHURANGI COLLEGE

We are proud of our International Students programme at Mahurangi College. International students experience life and learning in our beautiful location and leave with a sense of belonging and pride.

Our programme provides our local students to meet, work and play alongside students from other cultures. A Board of Trustees policy encourages the recruitment of a small number of students from all parts of the world. Students are welcome as representatives of one of the international exchange programmes, such as Rotary or AFS, or as full fee-paying students.

UNIQUENESS OF MAHURANGI COLLEGE

Mahurangi College is unique among New Zealand secondary schools. Today the Mahurangi area is one of the most remarkable in New Zealand… a community with a rural heart on the doorstep of a great city. A community tied together by the wonderful area and incredible diversity and life styles.

It is unique, it is amazing and it is ‘Our Place’.

Mahurangi College is situated in a beautiful environment and we make efforts to instill pride in where we live and educate our students beyond the classroom walls. We offer our international students a wide range of trips and exemplary outdoor education experiences. We hope to instill a love of the outdoors within both our local and international students that promotes guardianship and a pride in our environment.  We are a school that sets high standards and is committed to an inclusive culture built on excellence in education, sport and the arts.
