Sports Co-ordinator

Mahurangi College is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person to join their dynamic Sports Department as Sports Co-ordinator.

This is a permanent, part time position, 30 hours per week, term time only, with some holiday days commencing 23 January 2024 (or by negotiation).

The successful candidate will have:
 

A keen interest in sport.
 

Strong organisational and communication skills and be competent in planning, prioritising and working to deadlines and be efficient, adaptable and keep calm under pressure.
 

The ability to develop and maintain positive working relations within school and wider community groups.
 

The ability to work both independently as well as within a team, being able to use their initiative and have a good sense of humour.
 

This newly created position will have a focus on the Year 7 & Year 8 sports component, the ability to show leadership and take responsibility in this demanding area of sport is expected.
