Teaching Assistant Position
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 7 student on a part-time temporary contract. This person will work in the regular class setting as well as work individually with this student in a space separate to the classroom.
The ideal applicant should have:
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and take direction as well as the ability to work autonomously and use their own initiative
Ability to adapt and differentiate some classroom resources
Ability to work patiently and calmly with students who may have some challenging behaviours.
Experience in educational settings would be an advantage.
The successful applicant would be required five days a week, term time only and the position could be up to 20 hours a week.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to provide support to the Head of Department Science, teaching staff and students.
The role primarily involves: providing technical support, ensuring that equipment is functioning properly and ready to use, and that the right materials are available for particular lessons.
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience in a science support role and a good understanding of the school environment. You will be committed to providing a quality service, have demonstrated good time management skills, and maintain a flexible and positive attitude.
Duties include but not limited to:
Safe preparation and storage of chemicals
Updating chemical inventory
Conducting risk assessments and safe methods of use
The role is part-time, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours of work will be 8am – 2.30pm, term times only, to commence as soon as possible or by negotiation.
